We didn’t set out with a perfect plan

In 2008, as the housing market collapsed, founder Chris Zagyva started Lionheart Construction —not with a grand ambition, but because doing something constructive in the face of uncertainty has always been at the heart of this company.

At first, it was just about doing something. But it turned into a way to do something that mattered.

just a deep desire to build something better.

Chris soon realized he had a gift: an ability to see what clients couldn’t yet put into words, and bring it to life. This unique ability, rooted in genuine care and a commitment to bettering lives, turned a job into a calling.

When Chris’s brother-in-law and a close friend joined the company, Lionheart evolved from a one-man hustle into something far greater: a platform for leadership, mentorship, and something that would create a lasting impact.

We’ve grown up over the years.

We’ve built homes, yes, but more importantly, we’ve built trust.
